How we choose
We compare PDRN creams the same way every time, so you can judge our choices for yourself.
What we look at
- Actives: whether PDRN (sodium DNA or hydrolyzed DNA) is on the full ingredient list, where it comes from (salmon, seaweed, ginseng, fermented, centella), and what supports it: peptides, niacinamide, ceramides, hyaluronic acid, ectoin.
- Formula focus: is the cream built for hydration, soothing, radiance or firmness? We match that to the needs of skin over 35.
- Texture and wear: how the cream is described by the brand and by independent buyers, how it layers under sunscreen and makeup, and whether it contains fragrance.
- Availability: whether you can buy it easily from the brand or mainstream retailers.
- Value tier: we show price tiers ($ budget, $$ mid-range, $$$ premium) rather than exact prices, which change often.
What we deliberately leave out
- PDRN strength numbers. Brands measure PDRN differently, so concentration claims are not comparable between products.
- Star ratings and review counts, which vary between shops and are easy to misread.
- Medical claims. Creams are cosmetics. We describe how they can help skin look and feel, not what they do to your health.
How we write about each product
Every cream in our lineup is a real product that we checked on the brand’s official site in September 2026. Each one gets a genuine strength and a neutral “good to know” note. We do not order products by score; our favourite is shown first, and the others are grouped sensibly. Where we could not verify a suitable official product image, we show a simple typographic tile instead of a picture.
